Porn and Video Games

It makes sense that porn video games exist, because everything eventually makes its way to being sexual.

By Rebecca Dane from A Couple of Kinks

If you’re anything like me, I had no idea that there were porn video games out there until recently. Call me naïve, but I just hadn’t really thought about it. I’m not typically a video-game player (I wasn’t even allowed to play The Sims growing up), so the idea that there are whole worlds of virtual characters getting it on… well, it just hadn’t crossed my mind.

It makes sense that porn video games exist, because everything eventually makes its way to being sexual. Remember when you made your Barbie dolls make out? Well, this takes it to a whole new level.

If you’ve ever wanted to play World of Warcraft and end up in an orgy… you can. If you ever wanted to run through a Pirate world and sleep with everyone in it… you can. If you ever wanted to explore just how many sex acts two women or two men can do… you can now virtually do it.

Styles
There are various styles of virtual sex games that I have come across.  They range from purely sex-based goals to regular thematic games with sex intervals. Lately, there has been a rise of interactive games that require specific masturbation devices to participate.

If you start exploring the basic virtual games, you would quickly discover that a few things are true. The first is that there are hundreds of games available to partake in virtual sex at the click of a mouse.  The second is that they are primarily catered to heterosexual cis-males that enjoy stereotypically attractive features. This is a nice way of saying that there are some very skinny, large-breasted, blonde women in these games. This isn’t to say that they are all like that – there are a few that are targeted towards gay cis-males – but the vast majority have been created for a specific audience. The games range from cartoon characters to really realistic virtual characters. With a mouse, you can choose what your characters wear, what they look like and what sexual acts will be performed. Different games will allow you different things – different positions, number of people, certain kinks, etc. Many will have fantasy characters that can partake in the sex scenes as well.

Reviews
When reading reviews of these games there are a few things that stand out besides the ability to customize the characters and acts. First, people like to feel that the game creators put effort into creating a fantasy world. The buildings might not make a difference during a threesome, but it seems to be a characteristic that is very appreciated amongst gamers. Second, the conversations or verbal commentary that the characters make seem to go a long way as well - the sexier and more realistic the better.

Taking these virtual games to another level are the interactive worlds where people use real-life masturbation sleeves to actively participate in the sex happening on-screen. We’ll talk more about VR porn and the online games next week!

Anything is possible
For now, if you’re looking to get into the porn video gaming world, there are plenty of options available. You can be transformed into a fantasy world and engage with mythical and fictional characters or you can play out real-life scenarios like getting busy on your boss’ desk. Anything is possible in these virtual worlds, and that’s what’s fun!

For someone who doesn’t play video games, this X-rated version appeals slightly more to me than just a regular violent game. The good news is that just like regular video games, there’s something out there for everyone – you just have to find the one you like and practice!

If you find one you love – let us know!
